Matt was born on January 29, 1975 in San Angelo, Texas.
Grew up in Bullard, Texas.
He graduated from Bullard High School.
All-District defensive player in 1992 and went to regional finals three years.



On January 27, 1997, he married Tiffany (born 1-3-75).
They have two beautiful little girls:
Kaitlyn born 9-10-98
Natelie born 3-20-00



Manager of Batteries Plus in Tyler for the past two years.



Other hobbies include gun collecting, hunting, and rebuilding his Jeep.



Best finish in Mountain biking was a fifth place in the Sport class at Ft. Hood in 1996.



Due to an injury, current race training consist of 30-40 miles off-road,
eat "organ" foods (real good for you),
drink plenty of water, Endurox, and Glycoload drink.

This year, he was forced to downgrade to Beginner due to lack of racing and injuries.
His goals in racing is to upgrade to Sport as soon as possible
and to race well in the Sport class.



Future career goal is to own his own bike shop in Tyler.
